An invitation to the families who will make the school possible.
A letter from Peter Istvanffy, CEO & Co-Founder
Your child, becoming who they are — in a school built for the world ahead.
I’ve spent more than thirty years as the head of Calgary schools — first at Calgary Academy, then as founder of Edge School and Tanbridge Academy, and most recently in the research laboratories where education leaders across North America work on the hardest questions in education.
Newbridge College is the school we designed for my own grandchildren — and, with good fortune, the school yours will attend. A school where children learn by solving real problems. Where they move at their own pace, with real-time feedback and teachers who act as coaches. Where they graduate prepared not just for the next grade — but for the next decade.
We open our doors on September 1, 2026. Before we do, a small group of families will decide to build this school with us.
These are the families Newbridge will always belong to — not because they gave money, but because they decided what the school would be.
That is what a Founding Family is. They are not donors. They pay a single, upfront commitment that lets the school be built around their child — and, in return, their tuition is locked in for the full term of their commitment, their name is placed permanently on the Founders’ Wall, and they sit at the table as the school shapes its first chapters.
If you are considering whether this is something your family wants to be part of, download the Founding Families Overview document below to learn more about how it works. Then reach out to me directly, to start the conversation.
Warmly,
Peter Istvanffy
